Key Data Transferred from Enquiry to Booking:

  1. Source

    • Initially set on the enquiry.

    • Carries through as the contact source, though it may need to be manually confirmed during the booking process.

    • If an existing contact, then the contact source is used during the booking process.

  2. Representative (Rep)

    • The rep who processes the booking is recorded, overriding the enquiry-assigned rep.

  3. Tags and Attributes

    • Brand

    • Nature of stay

    • Booking tag (transferred successfully)

  4. Guest Details

    • Number of guests by category (e.g., adults, children, infants)

    • Number of pets (e.g., dogs)

  5. Stay Information

    • Property selected

    • Number of nights & Dates

    • Price set during the enquiry stage is carried forward.

  6. Notes

    • Private internal notes are transferred from the enquiry to the booking.

    • Guest notes and housekeeper notes do not transfer, as they are not available at the enquiry stage.  

    • Notes and subject is not transferred to the booking

  7. Pricing

    • Set price from the enquiry stage carries through to the booking.

Important Points to Remember:

  • The travel rep recorded is based on who processes the booking, not who handled the initial enquiry.
  • Comments successfully transfer into 'Private internal notes' visible when in the booking
  • Manual confirmation of source details may be necessary during the booking process.
  • All guest composition details and tags (like pets) were successfully transferred.

This process ensures key information is retained, but manual checks for source and note data are recommended for accuracy.
