Enhancements

Deleting bills and tasks once added to invoice [2852]

  • Previously it was possible to delete a bill or task after it had been added to an invoice.  This could result in bill or task being included on an invoice which no longer exists on the system.  This can be particularly confusing when generating statements.  It's no longer possible to delete a bill or task once it has been added to an invoice.  If a bill or task needs to be deleted it will need to be removed from the invoice first.

Alerts when enquiry hold expires [3413]

  • If you use the new timed hold feature to have a hold on a property automatically epire after a fixed amount of time, it's now possible to send out an alert email automatically.  You can create an alert for enquires by using the document type "Alerts Enquiry" in the Alerts & Reminders section of the CMS.  These can be used to send out an alert email a number of hours before or after a hold has been released, or at the time that the hold is released.   Tags are automatically added to an enquiry to show how long the hold was applied for and you can manually add any other tags which you have defined on your system.  The tags can be used to determine if an alert is sent for a particular enquiry.

Push Rates API [3561]

  • A new API is available which allows you to add or update rates on a property.  See the guide for more details.

Additional details in the rates API [3595]

  • Additional fields have been added to the rates API giving more details about the price.  In additional to the rental cost, the API now also gives you the cost of the booking fee and any extras configures as in list price.  A display price is also given which is the rental cost + the booking fee + the in list price extras.  See the guide for more details.

Bugs Fixed

  • Issues when short breaks overlap season boundaries [3373, 3658]
  • Issues relating to adding multiple bills from within a booking [3500]
  • Some bookings from Rentals Unites not having the correct security deposit [3558]
  • Some extras being displayed in the price breakdown on the booking pages when they should be included in the list price of the booking [3576]
  • Colour coding of bookings on the calendar is wrong when a part payment has been made [3609]
  • The layout of the properties on the Availability Search page in the back office has been improved [3629]
  • Properties with no rates show just the booking fee in the back office property list and availability search [3631]
  • Issues with the {Price} token when sending emails when a property is on hold [3639]
  • The pets extra allowed more than the maximum number of pets to be selected on the website during a booking [3641]
  • Too many decimal places shown when using the {holidayExtrasAvailable} token in emails [3648]
