The following guide describes the steps to set up PayPal as a payment provider in iPro.
1. You need to create a PayPal business account in order to receive payments via a connected application such as iPro. The PayPal guide to setting up a connection is available at https://developer.paypal.com/docs/checkout/integrate/#
2. Once you have a PayPal account log into the developer dashboard at https://developer.paypal.com/developer
3. You can use the switch at the top of the page to toggle between the live and sandbox accounts. The screenshots below are for setting up a sandbox connection that can be used for testing, but the process is the same for a live connection.
4. The REST API apps section lists the connections that are set up on the account. You can either use the Default Application or click on the Create App button to create a new one.
5. Clicking on the application name will give you a page that contains the Client ID and Secret
6. These values need to be copied into the CMS on the Settings tab on the Paypal node. There are fields for the values for both the live and sandbox values so that you can make test payments when the Go Live switch is set to off.
